For literacy our focus is working on different styles of writing. For our
information report we had a choice between the pyramids of Egypt or
the extreme weather. The hardest thing that I did was when I had to write it.

Would you rather be able to fly or be able to be invisible? I would turn invisible. because if I was getting bullied at school I would turn invisible so they don't bully me, And I don't wont to fly because if i fly to high and lose oxygen so that's why I would turn invisible and not be able to fly.

For the last 10 weeks we have been learning about chemical reaction and I learned that when you put baking soda and vinegar together and then it mixed together and the reaction was when the cork shot in the air. And then the baking soda and the vinegar produce air and the product made a gas and that is how the cork shot up in the air.

For calendar art this week we have been making symmetrical shapes into a pattern. I really enjoyed making patterns with shapes but I found it difficult to put the shapes in place. First we sketch an outline then we started to cut the shapes out of the colored paper then we glued all the shapes on the black paper. 

Disgusting Dinner

In literacy my reading group had to make a disgusting dinner writing. And I think that my one is disgusting I have a question for you would you eat this disgusting dinner that is on my blog.

For the last 6 weeks we have been learning about tattoos my goal was to finish it. first we had to do a draft then we drawled another copy be time i finished my drawing it was nearly the day the parents were coming to have a Hangi with there family. The thing that was challenging was to draw the purtures. And the easy thing was to vivid the drawing.  

Hangi day

Last Friday I did a Kapa Haka performance in front of the whole school and our parents. The whole school did what we normally do in the morning but then we went to look at the Hangi pit then the morning tea bell rang and then the story tellers performed. when they finished all the parents looked at all the work that all the kids have been doing and the we had the Hangi. The was nice but didn't like it a little bit then we were a loud to play for a little bit then the Kapa Haka performed and the Kapa Haka was because I was in the Kapa Haka.

Hangi Day

On Thursday after school Harry and his dad and Cruz's dad came to our school to dig a Hangi pit. Early on Friday morning they returned to light the fire. By the time I got to school the fire was roaring and smoke was billowing out. We got to look at the fire and it was explained to us that the wood iron had to be 'white hot!
Later we went back and they wet the fire and put wet cabbage leaves in to create steam we watched them lower the food in there were 3 big baskets. They put on more wet cabbage leaves and wet sacks. covered it with a tarpoline and covered with dirt to keep the steam in. 3 hours later we finally got to eat I thought the food was kinda good.

In literacy I made drawing's for my can do's  first I had to search up the photo then copy it into the google drawing's and then chose the line to draw the photo the hard thing was to get the stay on the line then I deleted the photo and then it came out like this.

Christmas

For Literacy we have been learning about all celebration's in all differed cultures so we had to write a recount about what we do in our family and the hard's thing about writing the story was to write the story.                         

Christmas
Me yelling “it Christmas time“  when i'm running down to my mum and dads room “wake up wake up it’s Christmas”.

I woke up and I had really nice coco pop’s for breakfast and it was  delicious. After I snuck into the room to see the presents, but I wasn’t aloud to go see the presents until everyone was ready but I got away with it.

When everybody was ready I raced down to the room and sat down until  Eli gave me all my presents. I had smelled chocolate bars in my stocking and I got really excited. I saw an Iphone X in it and a playstation 4 wheel.

Then I asked my dad to set up my phone and the first game I downloaded was fortnite. I had 2 hours until I had to go to my Nana's house. So I played fortnite for a 1 hour. I asked my dad to set up my playstation, he did with my new Rally Car game it was so much fun.

The last thing we did was we  I went to my nana's house for lunch and I took my iphone with me to entertain me so I don’t get bored. When I had  smelt some chicken and ham I raced to the table to get it first! It was the best delicious food I had ever had.

Over the last 10 weeks in Robotics I have been learning to programme the EV3's to move. First I learnt to make the robot go forward in a straight line. Then I had to learn how to programme it to stop at a certain point. Next we had to learn to programme it to trean left or right so we can so we can make the robot pick up the rubbish bin and the take it back to the start and then we were finish the track. Anzac Day feeling

In literacy we have been reading about dawn parade so we sarted writing what we feel about Anzac Day.

I feel sorry for all their sons lost in WW1 & WW2.  The all went to war because they thought it would be an adventure and they would see the world. It wasn’t like that at all. Many of the soldiers didn’t come home. We will still remember them to this day. ANZAC Day is a national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand that commemorates all Australians and New Zealanders who served and died in all wars.

Are monsters real or not

Today we have been writing about monster in the rangtan river in the writing we had to put a sarting bit but we only your aloud to do 2 sentence then we had to to 3 reasons about monster in the rangtan riverand say way and then we had to do the ending of the sentence so you only need like 5 paragraphs then your done.

This week we have been learning about the moon. We made a Moon list and a poster. but some people did a animation me and my friend did an animation about the moon making it shape going around earth. And the moon list was facts about the moon one of the facts that i did was The moon is 380,000 km away from earth.
